|The curator of the exhibition - Internationally recognized art historian Michael Glasmeier characterizes Böhmler's work with the following words:
"In contrast to the art of the same, of trademarks or CI, Böhmler works in the arts, between the arts and around the arts, with means of precise observation, humour and media craftsmanship on difference, metamorphosis, assertion and truth. Behind all this, the musical, the rhythmic, the time of sounds appears when the album of the smart artist is read, studied and practised as a score, as notation. For everything with Böhmler is capable of finally becoming sound, singing, noise, music or percussion. The QR codes are almost necessary for these reasons since they refer to precisely this space of possibility, which not only makes the music appear in the artist's action but also in the works and their combination, in the gatherings of the works themselves, as they are now specified in the album: visual music as the possibility of a "ritornello"."
